Insurance
Solid Ground Mental Health is not credentialed with insurances and is considered out of network. Many health insurance companies have out of network benefits, and you may be able to apply private pay services to your deductible, or they may reimburse you for eligible services paid out of pocket. You can inquire by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.
Why pay out of pocket?
Choosing to pay privately for therapy is like upgrading to first class—you get the freedom, flexibility, and comfort to shape your journey exactly how you want it.
Focus on what matters to YOU: No need to squeeze into a one-size-fits-all model. You decide what you want to work on, without being boxed in by insurance requirements or diagnostic labels.
Set your own pace: Want to meet weekly, monthly, or just when life throws a curveball? You make the call on how often and how long we meet.
Pick your perfect spot: Whether it’s in-person or online you’re not limited by insurance rules about where sessions can happen.
No diagnosis required: Skip the formal labels, if you choose, that can linger in your records. Private pay means your healing stays private—no strings attached.
In short, private practice gives you the steering wheel. Therapy becomes a space that’s truly yours—tailored and flexible.
Ready to design your own path? Let’s make it happen.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
This law was intended to reduce unexpected medical bills (for example: your ER doctor is out of network with your insurance and you end up with a surprise bill.) Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. Not to worry though, my costs are listed above and we will always discuss any changes. There are no surprise bills here!
Here is what you want to know under the new law:
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your psychological service. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
